Preparation Instructions:
Mike from Forest Grove Oregon sent us the following homemade potato salad recipe. To start the recipe, first you will want to boil your four eggs and potatoes, then dice them both up once they are done. Next take out a saucepan and add in the white superfine sugar, white all purpose baking flour, ground dried mustard, and a quarter teaspoon of table salt. Once those ingredients have been mixed together, you will then want to stir in the one fresh whole egg, bottled water, and distilled white vinegar. Beat these ingredients together until smooth. You will then want to bring these ingredients to a boil over medium heat, stirring often to prevent any burning. After the ingredients have cooked for a couple of minutes, remove it from the burner, and then let it cool a little. Next stir in the real French mayonnaise. You are now ready to stir together the whole salad, so mix your sauce with the chopped potatoes, chopped hard boiled eggs, diced spring onions, chopped celery, and the remaining portion of the salt and pepper. Lastly you will want to chill your salad for about an hour, so that it can flavor blend properly. Cheers, and thank you for checking out this appetizing salad recipe.
